Suffolk County Menu Labeling Law
Resolution Passed: February 3rd, 2009.
Status: Regulations are being written.
Resolution requires that the Commissioner of Health Services and Board of Health write and implement regulations for compliance. Chain restaurants with 15 or more locations will be required to post calorie content information for all regular menu items on menus, menu-boards and drive-thrus.
More information regarding this law will be added once regulations are released.
